Surabaya, March 21, 2024 – University of Nurul Jadid (UNUJA) has taken a significant step towards internationalization by signing cooperation agreements with two Taiwanese universities at the INTACT Base Education Fair. Held at Four Points by Sheraton Surabaya, this event opens up opportunities for UNUJA students to obtain scholarships, internships, and even job opportunities in Taiwan.

Rector of UNUJA, KH. Abd. Hamid Wahid, welcomed the program enthusiastically. "This collaboration is a strategic move for UNUJA to enhance its internationalization program and realize the tridharma of higher education," he stated.

The INTENSE program offered by INTACT Base allows graduates in Semiconductor and STEM fields to continue their studies at 10 universities in Taiwan with a full scholarship. In addition, students will also be guaranteed a job at a partner company after completing their studies.

UNUJA itself proposed a collaborative program that focuses on business development and technology integration. This program will open opportunities for UNUJA students and academics to participate in start-up and techno-preneur programs, as well as pre-employment training to improve their skills.

The two Taiwanese universities targeted for collaboration are Taiwan Steel University (TSU) and National Taipei University of Business (NTUB). The signing of the MoU with TSU was carried out directly by the Rector of TSU, Tien-Hui Chen, Ph.D. Meanwhile, NTUB was represented by the Director of International Affairs, Dr. Yen-Chen Yen. UNUJA is also in communication with Tatung University, a leading university in the field of information technology.

Head of International Affairs Office of UNUJA, Achmad Naufal Irsyadi, M.Li., stated that this collaboration is a positive start for UNUJA in 2024. "This collaboration is expected to provide benefits for all parties and achieve the desired targets," he said.

UNUJA's collaboration with three Taiwanese universities is a real proof of UNUJA's commitment to providing the best education for its students and opening up opportunities for them to achieve success in the international scene.
