Songkhla, Thailand — Universitas Nurul Jadid (UNUJA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Songkhla Technological College (STC), Thailand, to implement two strategic collaboration programs: an international internship program and the admission of international students. The MoU signing took place on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. local time in the STC Director’s Meeting Room.
The agreement covers cooperation in international internship programs for students and opportunities for further study for teachers in the Songkhla region, particularly in the field of education. This program is expected to serve as an academic bridge between UNUJA and STC in strengthening cross-border human resource capacity.
Also present at the meeting were the Director of STC, Mr. Theeraphonl Saengrawee, the Head of the International Affairs Office (KUI) of UNUJA, Ahmad Naufal Irsyadi, M.MLI., and representatives from several Indonesian universities, including Universitas Abdurachman Saleh Situbondo, Universitas Bhinneka PGRI Tulungagung, and STAIS Nurul Qarnain Jember.

In his remarks, Mr. Theeraphonl welcomed the collaboration and expressed his institution’s readiness to send teachers and students to pursue further studies, particularly in fields aligned with their academic backgrounds. He noted that engineering, computer science, mechanics, and education are the main priority areas for human resource development at STC.
“We are very pleased to welcome this partnership with a university from Indonesia. This opportunity marks a strong beginning for building mutually beneficial educational collaboration,” said Mr. Theeraphonl.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Naufal Irsyadi stated that this cooperation aligns with UNUJA’s vision of internationalizing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.“We are committed to supporting the improvement of educational quality in Southeast Asia through real collaboration in academics and professional development,” he said.
Through this MoU, UNUJA and STC will mutually support the development of cross-border internship programs and the capacity building of educators, which are expected to contribute meaningfully to educational development across the ASEAN region.
